A new Cowl to fight the winter cold!  This is a really nice cowl pattern that uses a reasonable amount of worsted weight yarn! Use any type of worsted weight and color. I think the color on this one with the wnow in the background is really pretty.

Here is a pretty scarf I finished!  Water Color Waves Lace Scarf.
Knitted with Patons Lace Yarn.  This yarn though delicate is very warm.  The yarn itself does the color-changing work for you!

Happy New Year!!
My first new pattern for the new year is now available!!
Rivers of Ice Lace Scarf! It is available for immediate download after purchase from Craftsy and Ravelry.  Despite its name-- “Rivers of Ice”-- this is a very warm, yet, lacy scarf with a lovely, wavy pattern stitch that reminds one of the fancy ice that forms in rivers, streams, and brooks in winter. The scarf is knitted with an edging first, then, stitches are picked up to begin the body of the scarf. A second edge is worked and sewn on to the scarf to finish it. There are plenty of fun, knitting techniques, such as; double yarn overs, and lots of increases and decreases in this scarf to keep one interested in its development. With charts as well as written instructions to follow, and a soft, heathery, fingering weight wool, one can make this scarf a must have for winter accessories!
